Brick Road Mortgage was founded by Mark Arone after spending 16 years as a Senior Loan Officer and Mortgage Relationship Manager in cities across the U.S. As a mortgage broker owner, there is rarely a moment when Mark isn't talking mortgages! Mark is passionate about the benefits of home ownership and helping people find their way into a home that makes smart financial sense. Meagan Arone, Managing Partner
Meg is a Partner at Brick Road Mortgage. She is a licensed loan officer and is always on top of her game when it comes to loan products and customer experience. She supports the operations and marketing arms of the business. Meagan has 10+ years in the mortgage industry and also has experience in property management, real estate marketing and IT B2B marketing. Ryan Racicot, Operations Manager, Senior Loan Officer
Ryan, a 21-year mortgage veteran, has managed operations for real estate financing firms across the country. In addition to his career in mortgages, he served as a high school business teacher and a paraprofessional for students with moderate special needs. He uses his educator training to help guide people and families on their home-financing journey by clearly communicating their options. Joining Brick Road Mortgage is the perfect fit for Ryan as it brings together his experience and their leadership and passion for the mortgage business. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Ryan lives in Plymouth with his wife, Brooke and daughter, Reese. Laurie Campbell Reed, Loan Officer
Laurie is a MA licensed loan officer and licensed real estate broker. We refer to her as the "Real Estate Boss Lady" in the office! She has 34 years of experience and a massive list of repeat clients attesting to her professionalism and skills. Laurie loves helping people and can offer "one stop shopping" for all your real estate needs. Larry Corcoran, Senior Loan Officer
Larry was the founding President of the MA Mortgage Association. There he was named Mortgage Broker of the Year by both the state and national trade associations. He was an owner of a mortgage brokerage company for many years. Larry brings over 38 years of professional industry experience to Brick Road Mortgage! Larry is proficient in all areas of loan origination, including the purchase and refinance of Conventional, FHA, USDA and VA loans, earning the designation of Certified Military Home Specialist. However. Larry's specialty is focusing on Reverse Mortgages. Larry believes the success of any relationship is built on communication. Matt is a true expert of the mortgage world having 18+ years behind him at nationwide lenders and brokers. He lives by the motto, “Creating Clients for Life!”. He takes the time to educate his clients and be available to them through the process; which keeps his clients coming back time after time. Lisa has been a mortgage professional for over 25 years. She has covered purchase and refinance loan scenarios from jumbos to low income lending. Her specialty is personalized service, no matter what your loan type may be. She always takes a personal approach to helping people. The mortgage industry has become increasingly hard to navigate; from rate and market fluctuations, to the never ending compliance and legal changes. Robert Stephanian, Loan Officer
Robert first jumped into the loan industry after dipping his toe in real estate investing. He joined Brick Road in 2020 and quickly realized he loved helping clients through the process. Robert has spent most of his adult life serving the community; working in law enforcement on criminal investigations. He has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Management from Bridgewater State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Rosemont College.

Margaret (Peggy) Whalen, Senior Loan Officer
Peggy has been involved with Reverse Mortgage Education for over 20 years. She started as an approved HUD Housing Counselor specializing in Reverse Mortgage Education and has recently joined Brick Road Mortgage as a Reverse Mortgage Specialist. Peggy has extensive knowledge in Community Programs, and she is dedicated to making sure to educate seniors and their families on ALL the options available, so they can make the best decision for them and their family. Peggy has earned the designation of CRMP (Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional) and is dedicated to upholding the highest Ethical and Professional Standards. She has also earned the designation of Certified Senior Advisor, CSA ®.
